Eucharistic Miracle Krakow Poland 1345

Almighty Father, as I listen to Peter's testimony, I am deeply moved by Your boundless love for me. You sent Your Son Jesus to bring peace and forgiveness into my life, and through His death and resurrection, I am redeemed. Help me to live out this incredible gift, sharing Your love and hope with everyone I meet every day. Amen.

PRINCIPAL'S LETTER

“If you are friends with Jesus, He will make you feel His presence in your life, and you will never feel alone or abandoned.” Pope Francis

Dear Parents,

Happy Easter! The readings during the Easter Octave are so beautiful. During the week, we hear several accounts of when Jesus appears following His resurrection. One of my favorite Gospels is the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24: 13-35) when Jesus appears to two of His disciples walking and speaking about Jesus. During the journey, they do not realize that they are speaking with the risen Lord. It is not until they invite Him to break bread that their eyes are opened and they realize that they have been speaking to the risen Jesus!

This passage is a personal favorite because it is a reminder that Jesus walks with me even in those moments when I may not realize that He is there. It also reminds me that He is revealed to me in the Eucharist.

During the Easter season, I pray that we will open our hearts and invite Jesus in. I also pray that we will be drawn close to Jesus in the Eucharist since He sustains us in our journey.

This week, we pray for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis. As our students pray for Pope Francis, they will also be praying for the cardinals. Next week, each student will receive the name of a cardinal. Students are invited to pray for one cardinal by name in preparation of the conclave and the selection of the new pope. Families are welcome to pray with their children for the cardinals that they receive.

God Bless,

Erin Vu
