Dear NCBA Members:
At the NCBA, we are always seeking to expand services and engage the greater legal community, including future lawyers. To that end, the NCBA COVID-19 Community Response Task Force is pleased to announce that law students will be incorporated in the provision of pro bono legal assistance to local residents and businesses facing significant legal challenges.
In support of volunteer attorneys, law students will research legal issues and draft memoranda across relevant practice areas. This presents an opportunity for volunteer attorneys to build professional relationships with talented students by providing supervision, constructive feedback and mentorship.
In her capacity as an NCBA Board Member,
Hon. Maxine S. Broderick, will coordinate pairing interested volunteer attorneys with law students as well as ensure that the program is both comprehensive and mutually beneficial. For more information, or to get involved, contact Judge Broderick at

or COVID-19 Community Response Task Force Chair Martha Krisel at

We look forward to hearing from you.
