Know Your Candidates!
The Frisco Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee hosted two candidate forums. These forums can be viewed HERE.
If you reside in Frisco, you will be voting for a new Mayor, and two City Council Places.

If you reside in Frisco ISD , you will be voting for two Board of Trustee Places.

If you reside in Collin County, you will be voting for four Collin College Board of Trustee Places (the fourth candidate is running unopposed.)

If you reside in Collin County, you will be voting on a $600 million bond proposal for Collin College.

Leadership Frisco Class XX Project
Each year, members of Leadership Frisco select and complete a class project that benefits Frisco. This year's class project will benefit Frisco Fastpacs. More information...
Leadership Frisco Applications 

The Leadership Frisco Advisory Council will accept applications in Spring 2017 for the 2017-2018 year for Leadership Frisco Class XXI. Leadership Frisco is a nine-month community leadership program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. The purpose is to develop a pool of qualified, highly motivated individuals who are interested in expanding their leadership skills, deepening their sense of civic responsibility, and becoming more involved in their community as a whole.

Class XXI will start in September 2017. Please download and followed the detailed Application Instructions prior to filling out the 2017-2018 Leadership Frisco Application. Applications must be submitted electronically by 5:00 PM on June 9, 2017. Late applications will not be accepted.

National Soccer Hall of Fame
This major renovation project here at Toyota Stadium will add something no other soccer stadium in the country will have - and that's the National Soccer Hall of Fame," Hunt added.

The National Soccer Hall of Fame is the highest honor any U.S. professional soccer player can earn, with some of soccer's legends expected to be featured at the Hall of Fame's new site at the southern end of Toyota Stadium.  Read More...
Flying Cars in Frisco?
During the Elevate Summit presentations Tuesday in Dallas, Uber's Chief Product Officer Jeff Holden unveiled the company's plans for urban air mobility, which include flying vehicles.

The ride-hailing company plans to launch a fleet of aircraft-called Vertical Take-Off and Landing, or VTOL aircraft-with the Dallas-Fort Worth area as the test market for these vehicles.

Hillwood Properties has partnered with Uber to develop three hubs, also known as vertiports, by 2020 for these aircraft. One of the hubs will be located within Frisco Station, a 242-acre mixed-use development under construction near Warren Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway, according to Hillwood Properties.
