Lord Jesus, You send Your followers to proclaim the Good News of salvation. Give me courage to live my faith openly and with joy. Use my words and actions to reveal my faith in You. Like St. Mark, help me trust that You work through my limitations and weaknesses. Amen.

PRINCIPAL'S LETTER

“Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire." Saint Catherine of Siena

Dear Parents,

Earlier this week, we were honored to host a luncheon to thank the priests and deacons who so generously support our school. We are blessed to have two chaplains, Fr. Lijo and Fr. Roopesh, as well as the continued support of priests and deacons from across the diocese.

Our priests celebrate Mass, hear Confessions, lead Adoration, and participate in retreats with our students. Our deacons support school Masses, lead Adoration, and serve faithfully during liturgies. If you see a priest or deacon on campus, please take a moment to thank them for their loving service to our school community.

As we conclude the month of April, students in several grades have been working on persuasive essays. I have had the joy of reading essays from elementary students who shared thoughtful ideas on how to improve our school. I appreciate their input and creativity, and I look forward to sharing their ideas with our leadership team as we plan for the 2026–2027 school year. It is a joy to see our students reflect so intentionally on ways to strengthen Holy Family, and I am grateful for their voices.

Run With the Angels will take place next week! Please be on the lookout for additional information about this fun event. The run gives our students an opportunity to support our school by running for a great cause. Funds raised will support our general school fund, with a focus on strengthening our learning support programs and early childhood programs. Thank you to our students for their active participation in supporting Holy Family!

God Bless,

Erin Vu

Here is the 2026-2027 School Calendar so you may begin making plans for next year.

Angel Virtue Program

In April, grades 2-4 focused on patience and fortitude. Grades 5-8 focused on patience, temperance, fortitude and faith. Each teacher in these grades chose students who modeled these virtues in an especially positive way. The following students will be announced at Mass next week and will be presented with a pin to wear on Mass days. Congratulations to our Angels!

Did you know that Angels 4 Life, Holy Family’s pro-life club, focuses on supporting mothers in need. This year we are pairing up with Eagles for Life from St. Dominic Savio in order to host a baby shower for an expecting mother. We would appreciate donations from both school communities to help make the transition to motherhood easier. Suggested items that would help include lots of diapers, onesies, socks, bottles, and baby food. We will also take gently used larger items such as a pack-n-play, crib or highchair. Please deliver unwrapped items by May 8 to the front office. Be sure to label them, “Angels 4 Life.” Thank you in advance for your support! Contact April Morley (amorley@holyfamilycs.org) if you have any questions.

ADVANCEMENT NEWS

Welcome to Holy Family Catholic School

Kid’s College 2026

The Holy Family Catholic School Kid’s College is where kids can come and pursue their interests. Like college, scholars will have the freedom to choose the sessions that appeal to their interests. Scholars are invited to explore a new skill, engage in an interest, and learn.

The faculty will lead carefully selected courses designed to integrate different curriculum areas and to be a non-traditional, multi-aged experience for students. The cost of the one-week course includes all tuition and fees. Kid’s College hours are 9 am - 3 pm Monday-Friday with options for full day or half day.

We anticipate that sessions will fill quickly. Since they are first-come/first-serve, please register as soon as possible for the session your child would like to attend. After turning in the completed Registration and Terms of Enrollment/Release Form with full payment, parents will receive a receipt to serve as confirmation of camp registration.

Registration forms can be turned in online, turned into the front office, or emailed to kwalker@holyfamilycs.org. Scholars will be placed in the sessions on a first-come basis until the session has reached its maximum enrollment.
