Easter Egg Hunt
Apr. 9

We need volunteers! Sign up at chambleeumc.org/egghunt2022 to show love to our kids, their families, and our community!

Registration for the Egg Hunt is open at chambleeumc.org/egghunt2022.

Empty eggs are available in the Narthex and the Atrium. We are asking volunteers to take some empty eggs, fill them with candy, and return them to the church by April 9th. Please label eggs that have hard candy in them.
Baby Shower!
May 1, 2-4pm

Our Children's Director, Erin Smith, and her husband, Jay, are having a baby! Please join us to shower her in the Fellowship Hall. We also need your help to help make this shower possible. If you are able to donate food/drinks and/or your time, please click on the signups below:
Easter and Holy Week at Chamblee
Apr. 14-17
Charge Conference
April 19, 7pm

A called Charge Conference will be held with the purpose of making a decision on the utilities allowance for the Senior Pastor. This meeting will be held in person in the Fellowship Hall as well as via zoom. All members of the church are welcome to attend the Charge Conference, but only members of the Administrative Board will vote.

The regularly scheduled meeting of the Administrative Board will take place immediately following the Charge Conference.
Easter Lilies
Through April 12

Easter lilies are $12/flower and can be placed in memory or honor of someone. You can order online at chambleeumc.org/easterlilies. Paper copies are available at the welcome desks.
Rise Against Hunger
Apr. 15, 6pm

Come help us pack 10,000 meals! Chamblee First UMC is hosting a meal packing event with Rise Against Hunger which distributes food worldwide to help feed communities hit the hardest with food insecurity. Chamblee First has hosted this event many times in the past and we’re looking forward to hosting it again after taking a COVID break. This is a family-friendly event and children as young as 4 years old are welcome accompanied by a parent. Registration is required.
UMW Lenten Food Drive
Through Apr. 15

The UMW is sponsoring a canned food drive to benefit Malachi’s Storehouse. Any canned food is appreciated, but the particular need is for proteins (tuna, chicken, beef stew, peanut butter, etc.). Hygiene items (toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc.) are also welcome. These can be hotel sample sizes. Please put your donations in the carts that are in the narthex and atrium.
Staff Highlight

Get to know Senior Pastor Eric Lee a little better this week!

Also, check out the new Staff page with all the new photos and links to the new pages!
Tiger Store Restock
Through May 15

The Huntley Hills Elementary Counselors are asking for some help with restocking the Tiger Store – an initiative to encourage positive behavior by giving students Tiger Bucks for positive/good behavior and the students get to “spend” their Tiger Bucks in the Tiger Store. An Amazon list has been created if you’d like to contribute.

If you have any questions, contact Sheila Gillispie. Thanks for your continued support of our local elementary school!
VBS
Jun. 13-17

Registration is open! Visit chambleeumc.org/vbs2022 to register.

We need your help for VBS! We are currently searching for classroom teachers, craft leaders, science leaders, recreation leaders, music leaders, greeters, photographers, and floating volunteers. If you'd like to join us in the most exciting week of the summer, contact esmith@chambleeumc.org with which position you'd be interested in serving in. We can't thank the church enough for all their support in making VBS such a success each year!
