| | Lord Jesus, You walk beside me even when I do not recognize You. Open my eyes through Your Word and warm my heart with Your burning love. Stay with me when life feels confusing or burdensome. Always reveal Yourself in the breaking of my everyday bread. Amen. | | INTERIM PRESIDENT'S CORNER | | |
Dear Holy Family Community,
Happy Easter! What a beautiful week it has been, and I am truly grateful to have witnessed the Eucharistic Procession after Mass this morning. As the bells rang across the campus to remind us that Jesus was present, the students knelt, prayed, and smiled. My favorite part of the day was watching the two students who walked throughout campus leading the group in song with a microphone attached to a rolling cart that carried the speakers. That was some impressive multi-tasking!
The love of Jesus that our teachers and students have shown throughout the week is a powerful reminder of the blessings He pours out on each of us. Thank you for sharing your children with us so that we may benefit from their joy and wonder.
God Bless,
Kelly Laster

“You, Eternal Trinity, are a deep sea. The more I enter You, the more I discover, and the more I discover, the more I seek You.”
Saint Catherine of Siena
Dear Parents,
This month, we are reflecting on and learning about our saint for the journey: St. Catherine of Siena. Although she lived only 33 years, St. Catherine lived her life courageously for Jesus and was named a Doctor of the Church.
St. Catherine was a Third Order Dominican. For three years, she devoted herself to contemplative prayer before receiving a vision from God, calling her to enter public life to serve the poor and the sick. She also challenged the pope to return to Rome, where he was called to serve the Church.
During her lifetime, St. Catherine’s spiritual director was Blessed Raymond of Capua, whom we will also be learning about this month.
If you wouuld like to learn more about St. Catherine of Siena, here are a few resources:
· Article: Saint Catherine of Siena | Franciscan Media
· Radio Podcast: Saint Catherine of Siena — Saints Alive
God Bless,
Erin Vu

Cuts For Cancer
The Savio Cheerleaders will be hosting Cuts for Cancer on April 17th at 2:30pm at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School! Participants can have a minimum of 8 inches of their hair cut and it will be sent to an organization that makes wigs for cancer patients. This event also collects monetary donations, which will be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
If you or your child would like to donate your unprocessed hair, you can do it one of two ways:
· You can have your hair cut and place in a donation box that we would drop off at your school
· They can attend our assembly on April 17th at 2:30pm and have their hair cut at the event.
If you think your student would be interested in this, please contact Brianna Green at bgreen@saviochs.org. We are excited for the opportunity to donate to St. Judes for those who are suffering from childhood cancer.
