Farm Day, March 23, 2023, 9:00am-12:00pm

A free, public event in which more than 30 exhibitors provide hands-on interactive activities targeted for elementary school youth. Our next Farm Day event will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 9:00 am to 12 noon, at the Marin Center Exhibition Hall.

Youth FireScience Information and Resilience Education (Y-FIRE) Workshop Series 2023

Hands-on learning about wildfire, firewise landscapes, fire fighting, and fire careers. Target Age: teens (13-18) in Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties. $10 per workshop

Farm Bureau Annual Dinner, April 28

Opportunity for 4-H members to help with the Marin County Farm Bureau Annual Dinner on Friday, April 28, Margaret Todd Center in Novato. 


Volunteers needed to help set up, sell tickets, lead the pledge and help distribute raffle prizes. 


This event hosts the Marin County Board of Supervisors, Marin County Sherriff and other VIPs from the community.

Marin 4-H Camp, August 4-10, 2023

The mission of Marin County 4-H Camp is to enrich the lives of youth in a residential camp setting that focuses on the social, physical and emotional well-being of participants and provides youth development opportunities through hands-on, experiential learning in an environment where youth feel safe, can master new skills and abilities, and develop the confidence they need to positively contribute beyond camp in their local communities.


LOCATION: Mount Gilead Camp, Sebastopol, CA. (Due to maintenance, we will return to Las Posadas in 2024). https://www.mtgilead.org/


Campers: 4-H members and non-4-H members, ages 9 to 14 years (as of August 4, 2023).


FEES

  • $650 - non-4-H members.
  • $575 - currently enrolled 4-H Members (MUST be enrolled as of Fall 2022/Spring 2023).
  • $40 additional for Camp Sweatshirt (optional). Fees include a camp t-shirt and a camp picture (sweatshirts are an additional fee).
  • No refunds after May 15, 2023.
