**Attention: Change to Record Books**

We would like to inform you about some important changes to the record book forms. To help streamline the process, we strongly recommend using the **Setting 4-H Project Goals** form. Completing this form will fulfill section one of the project report form.

Additionally, we are providing the **Project Report Evaluation Score Sheet** as a resource. This score sheet will be used to evaluate 4-H Record Books at the local level. If a 4-H member qualifies for regional or state record book judging, a new evaluation score sheet will be issued, and updates to the local evaluation book will be required.

Most importantly, the **Kansas 4-H Project Recognition Check Sheet** is now mandatory for all record books. This is a new requirement for the current 4-H year. We have created an internal 21 Central District - 4-H Record Book Instructions as a helpful resource checklist. You may use this as well to help guide you in completing a record book.

See our website for more information about record books.

As always, don't hesitate to call the office at 620.549.3502 or 620.659.2149.

UPCOMING 4-H EVENTS: See what's happening this year. Please take note that there are county-specific deadlines.
