  • Starting in 2026, all rules and deadlines will be strictly enforced—no exceptions.
  • We really appreciate everyone’s patience and willingness to adapt as we move through these changes together!

  • When submitting honey, it must be in a 12-ounce pint jar. The 4-H member must be enrolled in the Foods & Nutrition project and meet all Premium Auction requirements. This change was made after the fairbooks were printed, so it will not be listed there.
  • There is no Kansas State Fair 4-H honey exhibit; only open class. To take honey to the State Fair, review the Open Class Honey Entry Rules.
  • These rules apply only to the 2026 Stafford County Fair. The category will be reviewed again next year.
