Arapahoe County 4-H Shooting Sports Member Qualifies for 2022 National Shooting Sports Contest
|
Hi! My name is Timmy Beckel. I am very excited to be able to go to the 2022 National 4-H Shooting Sports Championships in June! I am a member of the Elk Creek 4H Club. I have been in Shooting Sports in 4-H for 5 years. My favorite is trap but I also like skeet, sporting clays and 5 stand too.
I am a farm boy that loves hunting and working on pickups and cars. Last year, my dad and I rebuilt the engine in our 1977 Camaro. I raced it up at Bandimere. I have always loved goose hunting with my dad and grandpa. I started hunting when I was 5.
Next year, I will be a senior at Strasburg High School. I am looking forward to graduating and then going to Wyotech in Laramie Wyoming. I plan on being a diesel mechanic when I graduate from there.
I would like to thank my coach, Ken Read and my 4 H club leader, Katy Vincent for all of their support.
