State Conference is for 4-H members between the ages of 14-18, as of December 31, 2018. It is a leadership opportunity as well as an event in which state contests are held. It will be held in Ft. Collins from June 18-21. The registration needs to be sent, emailed, done on 4Honline or delivered to the Extension Office by

The Jefferson County 4-H Program will be holding their 6th Annual Barn Dance on May 4th at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. They would love to have 4-H members, volunteers and families join them. This is a family-friendly 4-H event. No alcohol or smoking/vaping is permitted. Click on the image above for more information.

Join the Adams County Extension Office for a bread baking workshop. It will be held on Sunday, May 5, from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Riverdale Regional Park, Waymire Dome. The cost is $5 per person
or 5 canned food items. Open to all 4-H members, you don't have to be in a foods unit to attend. Please bring two each of mixing bowls, bread pans and mixing spoons. To register, please click on the image above.

There will be two Dog shows held in Douglas County. The first one will be on Saturday, May 11th and the second one will be on Saturday, June 22nd. Registration will begin at 7:30 .m. on both days. The Weld County Invitational 2019 will be held June 1, 2019 at the South Platte Historical Society Range. Disciplines included will be Air Pistol, Air Rifle, .22 Rifle, .22 Pistol (Sr. Only), Archery and Muzzleloading. Cost is $5 per class entered with a maximum of 4 classes per individual. Cost will be $10 per class if not registered by May 28, 2019. Any class changes made after May 28th will incur a $10 fee per change. You can also view class requirements

2019 Mountain to Metro Camp
Come join us for this fun 3 day 2 night adventure. You will be joining other kids, ages 10-12, from both mountain and metro communities on a quest to discover your roots! This camp is filled with tons of outdoor fun- games, high ropes course, a mine tour, gold panning, hay ride, teambuilding and more! All 4-H Dog and Cat project members are required to fill out a Colorado 4-H Dog/Cat Identification Form. Dog and Cat ID forms will be online again this year. You do not need to send a hard copy of your Dog ID to the Extension Office. The deadline for completing the Colorado 4-H Dog/Cat Identification in 4HOnline is
May 1, 2019.

Directions to add an animal ID:
- Log in to 4HOnline using your family email.
- Go to the member page.
- Scroll down to the list of family members and click on "edit" next to the member's name (just like for enrollment).
- Click on the "Animal/Livestock" button at the top.
|
|
- Choose your animal type: Dog or Cat.
- Select "Add Animal".
- Fill out the information and upload your dog or cat's shot records and photos.
- Click on "Save".
- A printed copy of your online Colorado 4-H Dog or Cat ID is required for your Dog e-record and Cat e-record.

Breeding Livestock Registration Required!
Cattle, Sheep, Goats(Breeding Boer and Dairy), Llama, Alpaca
Breeding livestock is required to be identified and uploaded (paperwork and photos) into 4honline by May 1st. Similar to Dog and Horse ID’s. Details and instructions are below:
Directions to add an animal ID:
- Log in to 4honline, using your family email
- Go to the member page
- Scroll down to list of family members and click on “edit” next to your name (just like enrollment)
- Click on the “Animal/Livestock” button at the top
- Choose your animal type: Sheep, Beef Cattle, Goats, Llama/Alpaca
- Select “Add Animal” for the appropriate project area (NOT for MARKET ANIMALS Except Hogs)
- Fill out the information and upload your and photos
- Upload the “Arapahoe County 4-H Breeding Registration Information Form (Non-Market Animals)” – this form should be uploaded in the “County Use Form” section.
- Upload a color photo showing any distinguishing characteristics and ear tag if applicable. (One photo required, but two are available).
- Upload registration papers, your brand inspection papers or lease agreement, if applicable.
- Note: Ideally these should be in the 4-H members name or an immediate family member!
- Click on “Save”. You can find the Breeding ID forms on our website. Please read the note on the bottom of the form about animals not born yet.
