Camping During Fair

Reservations are now being accepted for camping for the 2019 Arapahoe County Fair. The reservations will be made through the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds Administrative Staff. There will be 45 sites available and are sold on a first come first serve basis. There will be access to a shower trailer and portable toilets on site during the fair as well. They do ask that all campers clean up after themselves as they do not have a cleaning service for these showers. Camp sites are available Saturday, July 20 – Sunday, July 28th. Once your site is confirmed with application and payment they will follow up with details.

Reserve your space in 1 of 2 ways:
1. Fill out a reservation form, and mail it (or bring it into) the Fairgrounds office with your payment of $30/site in cash or money order form (no personal checks will be accepted). The Fairgrounds office is located at:

Arapahoe County Fair-4H Camping
25690 E. Quincy Ave.
Aurora, CO 80016.

2. To reserve your space ONLINE please fill out the online registration form at  https://www.arapahoecountyfair.com/f/31. At this online registration you will be able to fill out the registration form online and pay with a credit or debit card online. *American Express cards are not accepted.

Once they have received your application and payment please consider your spot confirmed. After all campground reservations have been made and they have received payment they will then e-mail you a parking permit and map of all campground spaces. Please print the permit and post it in your RV’s front driver’s side window throughout the fair. If you have any questions please reach out to Lindsey Friend, Arapahoe County Fairgrounds Fair Assistant, at 720-874-6540.
Chartering
Your club or committee’s chartering documents must be uploaded into 4honline by September 1st. We would love to get the ball rolling early so this is not a last-minute project come August. Please engage your club members in developing and updating your Annual Plan, Budget, and Financial Review. This is an IRS requirement of all 4-H clubs, committees and other entities. All of us at the county and state level are doing our best to make the process as easy and painless as possible. Thank you for your continued effort and work towards building a strong 4-H program in Araphaoe County. I hope this reminder allows you some time to start to prepare to get this accomplished. You can find the chartering packet here. We are here to support you, so please let us know if we can help in any way.
Arapahoe County 4-H Shooting Sports Club Community Rewards Changes
There are some exciting new changes coming to the program! We have moved to a new system of redeeming the shoppers rewards used on common grocery items we all buy every week at King Soopers and City Market. We will no longer have to remember to pre-load the cards before shopping and can receive the rewards by simply using your King Soopers or City Market Loyalty Card. This should make using the program easier for everybody as the loyalty card will link the community rewards automatically at the register.
We want to make sure everybody understands what to do, and how it works. Additionally, we want folks to know their balance on the pre-loaded cards are still usable but not re-loadable. Now's the time to use them up and move over to the new system.

That process looks like this. Login to your King Soopers loyalty card account and go to the community rewards page. Once there, you need only to enter our special code ( RY536) to link your King Soopers Loyalty Card to the 4H Arapahoe County Shooting Sports Program! Once connected you will start earning money for the Shooting Sports Program on your next purchase.

To link your existing account, or to open and link a new loyalty account, use these websites below.

For King Soopers Stores click here . For City Market Stores click here .  Remember, purchases will not count for our organization until after you register your  loyalty  card. P articipants must swipe their registered King Soopers or City Market  loyalty  card or use the phone number that is related to their registered King Soopers or City Market  loyalty  card when shopping for each purchase to count

Thank you for your participation in the program. For help or to ask questions please reach out to Kevin Pflug    [email protected]
