The Arapahoe County 4-H staff would like to thank you for your volunteer service with our 4-H Program, National Volunteer Week is April 7-13, 2019. There will be a token of appreciation in the mail for you or you may get them hand delivered to you at committee meetings. We truly appreciate your time and commitment to the program. 
Shooting Sports Members and Families
The weekend weather looks great and we have added a practice to the schedule!

Saturday April 6th  at the Sorber Ranch at  12:30pm  we will have  Archery, .22 Rifle, Muzzleloading and .22 Pistol

Shotgun  members will be meeting at  Kiowa Creek at 12pm  for  Sporting Clays  practice. For additional info-  kendall.read@gmail.com

It is important that you arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled practice times to allow time for check in. Remember, you MUST bring your* green practice card  to check in as well as your eRecord book. If you do not have this printed off the  website , please do so now. Bring your equipment unless you are using ours- this includes a CBI in all guns. If you do not have material to make a CBI (weed wacker line) please let one of the instructors know this as soon as you arrive. Do not remove your gun from its case prior and we will cut you a piece to use.

Weather :  In the case of inclement weather, we will do our best to email everyone but we have a number of new families that may not be on the list yet. You are welcome to text Katy at 303-913-7314 or Kathy Euritt at 530-632-7737 to verify a practice.

Bring chairs, water to drink, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, sunglasses, long pants, layers to put on or take off, and anything else to make you comfortable on the range at practices. 
Mandatory Shooting Sports Safety Meeting this Saturday, April 6th
If you do not already have your *  GREEN PRACTICE CARD , you must attend! This will be  Saturday, April 6th at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds at 10:00am.  Plan on about an hour there. At least 1 parent must attend with your child. Once completed, you are welcome to come to the range for afternoon practice!
