Cat Workshop
Our own Shaylen Florez has set up a Cat Workshop with the wonderful Marlena Griesse! Marlena is a 4-H Agent in Otero County and is also the State 4-H Cat Show Superintendent. She knows all things related to cats and showmanship. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to ask questions, learn more about cats and showmanship.

How Do You Rely on Water Contest
Youth Engaged for Change in collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) just launched a creative art contest for youth! Three winners will receive $100 Amazon gift cards. Share your answer to the question: What are the different ways you rely on water on a daily basis or why would you consider a career in water?

Submit ONE of the following:
  • A video essay, featuring acting, singing, poetry, or other spoken word (no more than 1 minute in length)
  • Illustration, such as a graphic design, comic, meme, infographic, animated gif, etc.
  • Photograph
  • Vision board
  • Written essay or poem (no more than 500 words)

The contest is open to anyone who is between 13-24 years of age.

2022 Fair Information

2022 Arapahoe County Fairbooks

Hardcopies are being distributed to organizational leaders for 4-H families this month. The Fairbook can also be downloaded by clicking here.

FairEntry

FairEntry will open for online entries on June 1, 2022. June 15 is the deadline for fair entries, with a late deadline of June 16 - 22 with a $25.00 fee per 4-H Exhibitor. Starting on June 1, 4-H families can go to http://arapahoecounty.fairentry.com/ to enter. Families will need to click on the green button that says "Sign in with 4HOnline" and enter the same login info they use to log in to their 4HOnline account. Make sure to complete all entries for all exhibitors before hitting the submit button at the end of the process.
