4-H Newsletter 6-28-2019

TODAY, 6/28/19, is the ABSOLUTE, LAST DAY to enter your Fair entries, if you haven't already done so with a late fee of $25.00 per exhibitor. After today, June 28, 2019, absolutely no entries will be accepted.

The web address for Fair Entry is: https://arapahoecounty.fairentry.com . DO NOT precede with "www.". Once you get there, click on the green “Sign in with 4HOnline” button, then enter your 4HOnline login info. DO NOT use the blue boxes and button below or it won’t work. See the image below.

Updated Chartering Information

Your club or committee’s chartering documents must be emailed to Dani at [email protected] by August 30th. We will then upload your documents into 4HOnline for you. This is a recent change in procedure from the State office that we didn't have in time for the last newsletter. Leaders need to completely fill out the chartering packet and send it to us. Electronic signatures are acceptable, or you can sign a paper copy and scan the document to us. You do not have to upload the documents in 4HOnline.

We would love to get the ball rolling early so this is not a last-minute project come August. Please engage your club members in developing and updating your Annual Plan, Budget, and Financial Review. This is an IRS requirement of all 4-H clubs, committees and other entities. All of us at the county and state level are doing our best to make the process as easy and painless as possible. Thank you for your continued effort and work towards building a strong 4-H program in Arapahoe County. We hope this reminder allows you some time to start to prepare to get this accomplished. State 4-H Talent Showcase

In lieu of having the performing arts contest at state fair, the Colorado State Fair would like to invite 4-H members to a 4-H Talent Showcase on Saturday, August 31, 4 - 6 p.m.

Wayne DeHerrera is the person that you will need to contact. His email is [email protected] or you can call him at 719-242-5725. 4-H members do not have to qualify for this showcase.

It is a great way to showcase our 4-H talent down at the state fair.
