Arapahoe County 4-H Foundation Annual Evergreen Sale Information
Evergreen Sale information packets have been sent to all Arapahoe County
4-H members and leaders. If you have not received your sale information or have questions, contact Kathy, 303-919-2177.
Begin taking orders the first week of October:
Oct. 1 thru 30 - 4-H members sell wreaths, centerpieces, swag, boughs and garland using the member order forms.
Friday, Oct. 30 - Members give orders to club Fund Raising Chairperson. (Contact your club organizational leader if you have questions.)
4-H members complete the member sales tally form when selling these items and turn the pink copy into the club’s Wreath Sale chairperson by the deadline. Monies may be collected either when orders are taken or upon delivery.
One hundred percent of the funds raised supports Arapahoe County 4-H members and leaders by providing funds for training, trips, camps, awards, livestock judging fees, college scholarships as well as State Fair contest fees. 4-H members also have the opportunity to earn cash for themselves and their club. Your participation will help sustain the financial support for these endeavors.
Evergreen prices remain the same as they were in 2019.
***New Electronic Sale Brochure***
An electronic fillable version of the Evergreen Sale Brochure is available for members to print or to email to potential customers (family, friends, etc.). Customers can complete the form on line and email back to the 4-H member. In the message you send with your e-mail, make sure to remind the customer that they need to return the form either by email or mail to you. Make sure to include your email address and mailing address with your instructions or complete that portion of the sale brochure with your name and e-mail address before sending the brochure.

New 4-H Year Enrollment Update
|
We want to make 4-H families aware that enrollment for the 2020 - 2021
4-H year will not be available until November 1.
Our 4HOnline system is being updated at the State level to 4HOnline v2.0, so that process will take some time.
Please be patient as we get familiar with the new system. Again, enrollment will not be available until November 1.

Face to Face Programming Request Policy
We appreciate your patience as we work to continue to offer high quality 4-H programming in Arapahoe County. As of May 16, 2020, CSU Extension has directed that we will continue virtual delivery for a vast majority of our programming. For those activities that are not able to be completed virtually, such as shooting sports practices (with certified shooting sports leaders), horse levels testing, horse practices, dog practices, and livestock clinics, CSU Extension will permit in-person activities that comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and public health guidance. At this time, this does NOT include 4-H club meetings, those will still need to be held virtually at this time. Please email our 4-H staff if you have questions about specific activities.
If you are interested in hosting an event, you must contact Arapahoe County Extension Staff at least TWO WEEKS prior to the event. This will allow for the office to develop a program plan request to be submitted to CSU Extension Administration and State 4-H. All activities must be submitted to CSU Extension administration prior to the event, 4-H staff will work with leaders on the required documentation for these programs. These activities will also adhere to CSU policies in support of public health and safety. Our ultimate goal is to remain relevant, strong partners within our Colorado communities, while also supporting their health and safety.
As part of Arapahoe County Government’s gradual facilities reopening plan, the Arapahoe County CSU Extension Office is now open by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We will not be able to accept walk-in clients at this time. Please email individual 4-H staff members to set up an appointment. Thank you!
