Fair Entry is the tool the Fair uses to register for every Fair Show, Contest and Project Completion Entries. You will register for Exhibit Day, Shooting Sports contests, Animal Shows, etc. at this time. More information will be coming in the next weeks, but please mark these dates on your families 4-H Calendar.

County Practice Signups


Reminder, you must have your 2026 Practice Card to be able to participate at 4-H Shooting Sports Practices (see messages above).


Click the links below to use the Signup Genius to sign up for a practice. Signing up is your commitment to Show Up and Participate at this practice. Practice schedules will fill up, waitlists are available. Please be sure to delete your spot at a practice if you are unable to attend in the Signup Genius or call the Extension Office at 720-733-6940. This will open up a spot for another member to attend practice.

You will get a warning from the office if you are a no-show to practice and you will lose ability to sign up for future practices, so please be courteous to let us know if you need to cancel well in advance, Thank you!


Sign Up Tips:

  • Remember to sign up for each Youth that will be attending practice. Only one youth per slot please.
  • Please be sure to sign up for the Discipline you will be shooting (example, .22 Rifle / Air Rifle / Air Pistol / .22 Pistol / Muzzleloader)
  • Arrive early to help setup the range and get the most out of practice, stay to help clean up
  • Thank your Leaders!

Registration through the Showman App coming May 1st!

The Douglas County Livestock Judging Team will have wholes or halves of bulk pork available. If you’ve been wanting to fill your freezer or just want to support the team, this is a great chance to do both!


Wholes are $325 + processing, and processing will be done at Stagecoach Meat Company so you can get it cut exactly how you want. Processing will cost around $400 depending on hanging weight and cuts ordered. The pigs go to slaughter on April 20th, so let us know soon if you want one!

Next Show: April 25th

The Douglas County 4-H Horse Steering Committee is proud to present the Douglas County Buckle Series again this year!


This year the show will include: Showmanship, English Equitation (Pattern and Rail classes), Show Hack, English Control/Hunter Hack, Western Horsemanship (Pattern and Rail classes), Ranch Riding, and Reining/Western Riding. We will have divisions for Walk/Trot (limited to Douglas County 4-H youth only), 8-13, 14-18 and 19+.


The Horse Steering Committee would love to see you all at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on these dates: Sunday March 22nd, April 25th, May 17th, and June 13th.

Breeding day for rabbit meat pens is April 20th…..NO EARLIER.

Earlier breeding dates will be DQd. 

Should be born on approximately May 21st.

 



Meat Pen of 3 Rabbits Eligibility Requirements:

  • Each rabbit must be no more than 69 days old and weaned from the doe on the day of show.
  •  Each rabbit must weigh between 3.5 pounds and 5.5 pounds.
  •  All 3 rabbits must be the same breed and color.
  •  The rabbits can be either gender.
  •  Rabbits must be purebred.
  •  Rabbit Breed must be a Meat/Commercial Breed.
  • All rabbits must be tattooed.
