Make plans to join us for horse camp! Our 4-H Horse Camp is a day camp that runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Horse camp provides 4-H members with clinic style skills, training in hunt seat, western, trail and gymkhana. Each day will focus on horsemanship skills. We will also have educational programming and fun team building activities!

4-H 201 covers information about the Douglas County Fair, including how to use the ShoWorks fair entry program. This training is strongly encouraged for all new 4-H families who will be participating in fair, animal shows, and county shoot. Rabbit Showmanship

D.C. Rabbitears is hosting a showmanship/general husbandry clinic for all 4-H kids that are showing rabbits at the 2018 fair. We will have a judge that will score your showmanship with your rabbit so you know what to work on for fair. Come dressed in your showmanship clothes, and bring your rabbit & carpet square. Get your rabbit tattooed for ID day. $2 a tattoo. RSVP by June 1st to Christine Sijelmassi:

Support the Sedalia Spurs at Kohls in Littleton!

The Sedalia Spurs will have a petting zoo at the Kohls at Kipling and 470 on Saturday, May 12th from 10 AM – 12 PM. Stop by and see them there!

Make plans to join us for a branding party. Youth will be branding boards for the 4-H and FFA Parade Float. This event is open to  all 4-H and FFA members, including Cloverbuds.  If you have your own brand, bring it to add to the float. For youth without brands, we will have brand inspectors there to temporarily approve 4-H and FFA members' brands. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

This show supports the Douglas County Youth Council to provide scholarship and educational opportunities to Douglas County 4-H members.  To make this event a success, we are encouraging clubs to donate $50 toward the event.  Youth Council members will be contacting local businesses for sponsorship. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact the Extension office.

Classes for market steers, market goats, market lambs, dairy, pygmy, and fiber goats.

We will also have an Old Timer Showmanship.
Colorado 4-H State Conference
The 2018 State Conference registration is open in 4H Online and information is available on the Colorado State 4-H website. State Conference offers excellent leadership, teamwork, and personal success workshops. State Conference is an opportunity for 4-H members ages 14 to 18. You can meet new friends in the many activities.
County deadline for registrations is May 15th, 2018.
NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
