Evansville CC March 20 CEU:
Immersive Planning
Sponsored by

The research study revealed a workplace that is dramatically different than one of just a generation ago.  Knoll found five significant factors that contribute to a new way of working and drive new thinking about the work environment.  Based on the findings, a new way to think about space has been identified.  Defined as Immersive Planning, the model not only blurs the lines between work, life, and play, but also individuals and teams, primary workspaces and activity spaces, and owned and shared work areas and tools.  Comfortable furnishings and fluid boundaries characterize this group-based workplace where the actions of the people themselves define the space.  The result:  an environment that creates a variety of experiences, transforming at a moment's notice and evolving with use.

April CEU: New Metrics of Place
Sponsored by:

Traditional workspaces don't support the way people actually work today. To find out what kind of workspace designs do, Herman Miller is studying progressive work environments around the world. This CEU summarizes the findings of that research so far, including six emerging patterns of use and associated metrics that organizations can draw on to create, measure, and manage high performing work environments that empower people to do their best work.
