Abeer Saeed, Productive Business Interiors, VP of Student Affairs

4L. How many years have you served on the IIDA Indiana Board? AS.  This is my first year on the board , prior to this I was on the FWCC for a year

4L. What are your main responsibilities on the board and how long is your term as VP of student affairs?
AS. My main responsibilities are to make sure the students have a voice and liaison in IIDA and the design world, and ensuring that they have the tools they would need to succeed both in school and the outside world. My term is 2 years.

4L. How long have you been with PBI AS.  1 year 6 months

4L. 3 Words to Describe IIDA...  AS.  Energetic, Inspired and Networking

4L. What does IIDA mean to you or what is the greatest part about IIDA? AS.  I credit IIDA so much for the jobs and opportunities I have had. When I was the president of the IIDA IPFW campus center, the VP of student affairs then had recommended we reach out to companies such as Steelcase, Designtex and so on, to see if they would give a presentation. Steelcase came and brought the local dealership (PBI) with them. Being so impressed with our commitment to the event the VP of PBI offered my friend and I internships, and upon graduating we both had jobs at PBI.   Being a part of IIDA has made me feel as if I'm a part of something bigger. It has broadened my network and given me a familiar face at almost any event.
