Hey, Grace’rs,

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water[ a ] of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. 6 This Spirit he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 The saying is sure. (Titus 3)

The Lord is compassionate and merciful,
    slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.

He will not constantly accuse us,
    nor remain angry forever.

He does not punish us for all our sins;
    he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.

For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
    is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.

He has removed our sins as far from us
    as the east is from the west.
The Lord is like a father to his children,
    tender and compassionate to those who fear him. (Psalm 103:9-13)

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
    his mercies never come to an end;
23
they are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
24
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
    “therefore I will hope in him.”
25
The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
    to the soul that seeks him. (Lamentations 3)
