Embrace your bold and bright side with the Kindred Creatures Tiling Scene by Laurel Burch. This unique machine embroidery project combines our classic tiling scene techniques with fun Luxe Sparkle Vinyl freestanding accents for added dimension and detail! This project adds whimsy and style to your home decor wherever you choose to display it! Largest Design Size: 7.66" x 5.13"

You will learn the basic steps of paper-piecing, how to paper piece segments, and join the segments together. It’s a great technique to use your scraps. It is essentially sewing by number to sew a design into a project. You will be using your colorful 4” X 6” scraps to make beautiful flower blocks. Two methods will be taught so you can choose the method best for you. You will learn tips and tricks for the quilt construction. We will take a break for lunch on both class days. 

Session 1 - Cutting fabric and learning 2 methods of foundation paper-piecing. Homework will be given to make flower blocks.

Session 2 - Continue making flower blocks, if necessary, and learn tips to connect the blocks together. Then we will add the borders.
