40 Days for Life - Update 3/14/19
"I was touched."
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, March 22, 2019 (Cincinnati, OH) - from 40 Days for Life Cincinnati campaign leader Mary Clark:

Here is an excerpt from a note I received last week from one of our faithful vigil participants:  "It was very quiet except for 10 minutes that I will tell you about.  I did hear 5 or 6 encouraging toots from horns on Friday and I did see a lot of people leaving Planned Parenthood between 4:30 and 5:30.  I met a special young man close to 4:15.  He stopped by to thank me for praying and told me when he thinks about what goes on "in there" it gives him chills.  He said he is from Croatia.  He then walked away.  Two minutes later he came back and said he wanted to pray with me.  He stayed for about 10 minutes before he said he had to get going.  He told me about being from Croatia again, took a photo of us together, said "God Bless" and left.  I would guess his age to be 28-32.  I was touched."

If you have a pro-life conversation with a passerby while praying at Planned Parenthood, receive thumbs up's, honks or encouraging words, or would like to share an impression or thought that occurred to you in prayer, please send them to me to share with our 40 Days for Life community.  Just by the nature of this campaign we do not have many opportunities to meet most of the others who are also fervently praying during this intense 40-days period.  So this can be a small way to unite us.

There are, however, two opportunities for us to meet for prayer and fellowship:

TONIGHT: MIDPOINT PRAYER HOUR FRIDAY 3/22 - 7PM
IN FRONT OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD
All are welcome and encouraged to join us for an hour of prayer as we approach the midpoint of the spring campaign. For those who have been coming to pray during the first half of the campaign, this is an opportunity to resolve to persevere to the end of the campaign in public prayer. If you have not taken part yet, this a great opportunity to begin your vigil participation.  No sign up necessary for this event.  Parking is on side streets - the closest being Wellington Place, which abuts Auburn Avenue slightly north of Planned Parenthood.  Dress for weather, layers are best.

CLOSING HOUR OF PRAYER AND THANKSGIVING
Palm Sunday, April 12, 2:00-3:30pm
We will start at Holy Name Church parking lot (2 blocks north of PP) and process to Planned Parenthood while praying the Stations of the Cross. When we arrive at Planned Parenthood we will continue our prayer of thanksgiving for the success of the concluded campaign.  Please stay a few minutes at the conclusion of the event to meet some of your fellow vigil participants and have some refreshments as a thank you to all who have sacrificed their time to pray throughout the campaign.  Families welcome.  Park at Holy Name Church and join the procession.

UNPLANNED Movie

Movie Synopsis
As one of the youngest Planned Parenthood clinic directors in the nation, Abby Johnson was involved in upwards of 22,000 abortions and counseled countless women on their reproductive choices. Her passion surrounding a woman's right to choose led her to become a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood, fighting to enact legislation for the cause she so deeply believed in. Until the day she saw something that changed everything.
