Beloved Friends,
Blessings to you on this Sabbath Sunday. Remember that Sundays are not included in the 40 days of Lent. Sundays are a reminder of the resurrection celebration and the sacred invitation to rest - even during the otherwise more penitential season of Lent.
“So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy,
because on it God rested from all the work that
God had done in creation.” Genesis 2:3
May you find whatever rest and renewal your heart desires on this Sabbath Sunday.
Your Companion in Silence,
Sharon
