Dear Neighbor,
Primary elections are finally over and it's time to get excited about a vote where everyone in the community wins! We are happy to announce that the 41st Ward Participatory Budget voting will begin on Monday April 9, 2018 and close on May 11, 2018. We launched this process in the 41st Ward to ensure that residents have a voice in how their infrastructure dollars are allocated. Voting is limited to 41st Ward residents ages 16 and older. Voting must be done in person and a valid I.D. is required. Voting will be available at our ward office at the following times:
41st Ward Office - 7442 N. Harlem Ave. Mondays 9am - 7pm
Tuesday through Friday 9am - 5pm
We will also be offering satellite voting locations throughout the ward. These locations and dates will be announced soon.
Voting April 9, 2018 - May 11, 2018
STREET SWEEPING
April 1, 2018 - November 1, 2018
Street sweeping has begun and will continue through November 1, 2018. Street sweeping is administered on a city-wide grid. *Click Here* to locate your grid section and sweeping schedule.
*Important* Please remember that if you have curbside garbage pickup and street sweeping is scheduled on your day of service, place your carts in the parkway near the curb. This will ensure that your garbage carts are serviced and leave the curb lane open for sweeping.
STREET SWEEPING GRID
On Saturday April 14, 2018 we are hosting a paper shredding and electronic recycling event. This is a great opportunity for you to safely dispose of your sensitive documents and old electronics. See the flyer below for more details.
On Saturday April 21, 2018

Past projects included areas around parks, schools, community gardens and tunnels. You provide the volunteers and we will provide the brooms, rakes, shovels and bags!
To participate, please complete the Aldermanic Tool Request Form below and return to our office by April 13, 2018. If you have any questions or need additional information about the Clean and Green program, please contact our office at (773) 631-2241.

New Playground coming to Wildwood Park!
After months of collaboration between my office, the Chicago Park District and the Wildwood Park PAC, joint funding has been secured for a new playground at Wildwood Park. We are looking forward to adding this new amenity for the Edgebrook area this summer.
