Your Support Makes a Difference

St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf needs your assistance in ensuring our voices are heard by New York's Governor Kathy Hochul. In New York, there are 11 state-supported schools for the Deaf, Blind, and severely disabled. SFDS is one of those schools. We are collectively, referred to as the 4201 Schools. And, we are proud to be apart of this community.

Unfortunately, the proposed NY State Executive Budget will reduce funding for SFDS and the other 4201 Schools by $2 million. This cannot happen. The Senate and Assembly recommend restoring this cut and increasing investment in our schools. We require your assistance in requesting Governor Hochul to support the 4201 Schools and our exceptional students.

Please use the information below to submit a contact form to the Governor and urge her to accept the Senate and Assembly’s proposals. We want to make certain our voices are heard before March 31, when the final state budget is due. Please share this with anyone who supports St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf.

The more messages we send to the Governor, the better.
