Dear Neighbors for Clean Air,

I'm just back from Salem, after this morning's hearing on HB 3119, this session's attempt to roll back our Advanced Clean Truck (ACT) rules by at least two years.

Likely emboldened by recent actions in Washington, industry's plan for Oregon is to just let clean air advancements whither on the vine. This will open a pandora's box of other challenges to undermine our state's authority to protect our clean air. That's why we need you to make your voice heard today that you oppose HB 3119:

1. Submit testimony here.
2. Select HB 3119.
3. Choose "Oppose" and remember, you have until 8AM on Saturday, February 1 to submit testimony.

The hearing was full of blatant misinformation from industry as they continued to make outlandish, unchallenged claims about the impossibility of implementing these rules.

We need your help to push back on big diesel's false narrative while there's still time to submit written testimony on HB 3119.

And when you submit testimony, please cc Oregon's congressional delegation so they know about this assault on Oregon's ability to enforce the Clean Air Act and our mandate to protect clean air. Click here to find your congressperson.

Pushing back these standards is more important to industry than the lives of Oregonians who will die in that time from diesel pollution.

So let's send our lawmakers a loud and clear message: Oregonians can't wait for clean air.
