Successful Embark Seminar

Our WDHS seniors finished up our first ever Embark Seminar this week. Embark Seminar is a 4-week, school-based program to help seniors maximize their college experience. WDHS provided this free of charge to any and all college-bound seniors, whether planning to attend a 2 or 4-year institution. We were “test-driving” it this year and hope to continue it next year.

Ending the School Year Strong!

As the end of the school year approaches, it can be easy for children to lose focus and motivation. However, it's important to finish strong and end the year on a positive note. Here are some tips to help children stay motivated and finish the school year strong:
Set Goals: Encourage your child to set goals for the remainder of the school year. Setting realistic and achievable goals can help your child stay focused and motivated. You can help your child by breaking down larger goals into smaller, more manageable tasks.
State Assessment Results Timeline

We have appreciated the support of parents and caregivers during the state assessment season here in Wisconsin. The School District of Wisconsin Dells utilizes student assessment results to help us determine student progress in the state standards and to shape direction of our overall instructional programs. Wisconsin and the Department of Public Instruction use the data as part of our accountability ratings and the school report card system (typically released late fall annually). ...READ MORE
Title VI Annual Meeting

The Federal Office of Education offers a competitive grant through the Federal Office of Indian Education. This grant/program is designed to address the unique cultural, language, and educationally related academic needs of American Indian and Alaska Native students. The grant funds are intended to assist districts in meeting the unique cultural, language, and educational needs of indigenous students. The grant funding is based on the number of students who have provided documentation indicating they are a member of a nationally recognized indigenous tribe. ...READ MORE
Construction Update on the Performing Arts Center
We are pleased to share with you our April 2023 project update for the work being completed on the Wisconsin Dells Performing Arts Center. In this update we highlight the completion of the roofing system, stage slab on grade, MEP rough in and the continued progression of cold-formed metal studs, painting of auditorium ceilings and installation of bathroom tiles.
