On Friday, October 9th, the City of Milpitas Office of Economic Development in partnership with the City of Milpitas Economic Development and Trade Commission will host a virtual listening session with local advanced manufacturing employers and workforce development professionals.
Manufacturing Day 2020 will kick-off with opening remarks from Steven G. McHarris, City Manager from City of Milpitas. We are excited to have Dr. Dickerson from Evergreen Valley College, Casey McNeil from FLEX, and Billy Glass from Onanon join our panel discussion moderated by Milpitas Unified School District Board Vice President Chris Norwood.
Our topics are more relevant than ever – the state of advanced manufacturing during COVID-19, the future of workforce development, and bringing back manufacturing jobs to the United States of America.
