Inspiring Sedgwick County - Emergency Communications
Recently I was able to sit down with Elora Forshee, Emergency Communications Director. We talked about her career with Sedgwick County, the role of call takers and dispatchers, and 911 operations.

Wow! These people are professional multitaskers. Sometimes they have several lines of communication going at once. It's such a fast-paced environment and a great opportunity for people who can react quickly.

The Week Ahead - Public Forum on Wind and Solar Energy Operations
There will be a public forum for residents to provide input on wind and solar energy systems in the county at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at the Cargill Learning Center (Sedgwick County Zoo).

Residents have the option to leave comments related to wind and solar energy systems in an online forum as well. Comments will be accepted now through Friday, April 26 at www.sedgwickcounty.org
