Hello 4th Grade Parents!

There is A LOT of stuff going on! Quick reminders:

• Printed baby photos are due Friday, April 11! Drop off in the Bradfield front office or at 4527 Arcady Avenue.Be sure to write their name on the back.
• Snack Shack is Friday, April 11! Students from Barnes and French will help. 
• Students will tour MIS on Friday, April 11! The school will take them and bring them back. Please have them wear their 4th Grade t-shirt. 
• The Boys Mixer with Armstrong is Sunday, April 13 from 3:30-5PM! RSVP Here
• Parents will meet Tuesday, April 29 to learn about 5th Grade at MIS. 

Be sure to grab a volunteer spot in the Raider Cafeteria next year! The cafeteria needs you! Sign-up info below.

Also, Principal Reyes from MIS/HPMS would like to give you the opportunity to share some insight about your student and any information that will help set them up for success for the 2025-26 school year. The deadline to complete the voluntary form is Friday, April 25.

PRINTED BABY PHOTO - DUE THIS FRIDAY!

Submit a baby photo (ie 1-5 years old) for the graduation display case in May. Please drop off a 5x7 (or smaller) photo with the name of your student on the back to the Bradfield front office or to 4527 Arcady Avenue by Friday, April 11. 

These baby photos will be used to create the “guess the baby” display case in late April/May and we want every 4th grader to be included! Please make sure your child’s photo is turned in by April 11 so they don't miss out on this special Bradfield tradition!

Note: Photos will not be returned, so please do not send any keepsake prints.

PARADE CAR SIGN-UP

We need more cars!! We have 20 graduation parade cars carrying around 80 kids so far!

If you are willing to drive a vehicle (golf carts, convertibles, jeeps, etc. - or borrow one from a friend or relative), please let us know!

Students from Barnes & French will help on this date - wearing their 4th grade t-shirt. Plus, parent volunteers from these classes. 

Students and parent volunteers will report to the Sport Court at 2:30PM to get their assignment and learn how they will help. They will be done around 3:45/4PM.

Grades will be released in staggered releases:

Pre-K: normal dismissal to the front

Kinder: normal dismissal to the front

1st: 3:05PM

2nd: 3:10PM

3rd & 4th: 3:15PM

There will be 2 sessions on Tuesday, April 29: 

9:30AM in the 7/8 Assembly Room or 6PM in the MIS Auditorium 

Volunteer in the Raider Cafeteria for Next Year!!

Hi! The Raider Cafe software (VSP) is open for new volunteers to sign up for a spot next year! If you would like a position, I suggest you grab one asap. The Day Captains and Coordinators have been working hard to retain volunteers from this year and the remaining spots won't be as abundant as years past. Matter of fact, this last fall, we were 100% filled and that is the goal again for 2025-26. 

In order to sign up, you must have a VSP account. Below is the link. Signing up works best through a browser. You do not need an Organization ID, and the city is Dallas. Once you create the account, the software admin (Tracy Melech) will approve you to serve in all the positions. And once you choose a shift, she will make it recurring for that day each month (ex. 1st Wednesday, 3rd Friday, etc.).

Signing up can be a bit confusing so please let me know if I can help. Once you're in, it's easy - especially the app, which is great for sub requests, viewing your schedule, etc. I'm attaching a pic of the app. Go ahead and download it while you remember your password!
