4th Of July Parade Returns


The Township and the Lions Club of Whitemarsh are happy to announce that the 4th of July Parade is back for 2022.


The parade begins at 10 a.m. at the Township Building and continues to Miles Park. A celebratory picnic with music, free hot dogs and complimentary beverages is hosted by the Lions Club at the park after the parade.


The community is welcome to join in the parade. Individuals, businesses, and organizations interested in participating are required to pre-register with the Parks & Recreation Department. Please register by June 28.

Officers Rescue Baby Goose


Two police officers rescued a baby goose that fell into a storm drain last week. Baby was eventually reunited with Mother Goose. 


All in a day's work for the officers. You can watch a TikTok account of the rescue here.

Recycle Election Signs At Township Building



Election signs can be recycled in the rear of the Township Building. Please place the signs in the fenced-in area.

Shredding Day Benefits Whitemarsh Ambulance


The Whitemarsh Community Ambulance Association received more than $1000 from donations received during the Spring Shredding Day.

Simon's Heart Donates AED 


Simon's Heart, which is dedicated to raising awareness about and preventing sudden cardiac arrest in children, recently donated an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), to the Township. 


The AED is in use at Miles Park. Thank you to Simon's Heart.  

Hope Lodge Car Show On June 4


Ales and Petals, Hope Lodge's car show, is set for June 4 beginning at 10 a.m.
