60th Anniversary Celebration, 4th Quarter Board Meeting & Enrichment Workshop

Held at the Omni Severin Hotel - Downtown Indianapolis. Our very own Donald Durrah of Cleveland, OH brought us Mobile Appraisal Training. This complimentary workshop included attendees from the seasoned valuation professional to trainee appraisers to Brokers seeking cross-training.

VA Appraiser Recruitment Drive
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs launches an Appraiser Recruitment Drive to increase the size of its Appraiser Fee Panel. To be considered, Appraiser must have a minimum of 5 years residential appraisal experience and have at least 2 letters of recommendation from fee appraisers. Please know that unlike FHA, the VA does not require you to be Certified. For a complete list of requirements, visit the VA website. Applications can be submitted online. Apply Here.

Appraisal Foundation Update

The Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) invites you to its upcoming Public Meeting on February 3, 2016, in Dallas, TX. On December 7, 2016 the ASB published the Third Exposure Draft of proposed changes for the 2018-19 Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
 
The Board seeks feedback from government regulators, educators, appraiser organizations, practitioners, and users of appraisal service.
