Calling all Volunteers: Hospitality Ministers Needed for Christmas Masses! Your help is essential to make this celebration special.
Why is your help needed?
Many of our regular Sunday ushers will be traveling to spend time with their families, and we need volunteers to fill in for them during the Christmas Masses.
What do Hospitality Ministers do?
Hospitality Ministers greet parishioners and visitors at the Cathedral, distribute programs, answer questions, and assist with the collection. With more visitors attending Mass over Christmas, it’s important that we continue to show the warm, welcoming spirit that St. Matthew's is known for.
What positions are available?

Tuesday, December 24, 4:30pm Mass (Arrive by 3:15pm)
- 10:00pm Mass (Arrive by 8:30pm)
- Note: There are Preludes at 4pm and 9:15pm, so we ask Hospitality Ministers to arrive early
-
Wednesday, December 25, 9am Mass (arrive by 8:30am)
- 11:00am Mass (arrive by 10:30am)
How can I volunteer? To sign up, please email Ana Triaureau at atriaureau@stmatthewscathedral.org or call 202-347-3215. Ana will confirm your availability and provide further instructions.
Thank you for your willingness to help make St. Matthew’s a welcoming place for everyone this Christmas season!
