Word on the Street
The Excelsior Springs Hospital announced this past week that the FCC has awarded them funding to improve their telehealth services in the hospital. They stated that to date, ES Hospital is one of six that has been selected to receive this funding. The money will be used to improve upon technology and services to conduct care remotely.

Celebrating the 4th in ES
Despite the pandemic, Excelsior Springs citizens were still able to find time for some patriotic fun and celebrate by watching the fireworks together. Here's an inside look at what our citizens did on this day!

Storm Damage in Excelsior Springs

This past week in the wee hours of the morning a massive storm came through town with straight line winds uprooting trees, knocking over patio furniture, and even destroying a massive amount of a fireworks stand’s inventory! Check out some of the citizen’s submitted photos for a rundown of the damage.


Missing Pets of Excelsior Springs
There are a number of pets that are missing right now in Excelsior Springs. Probably due to the large amount of fireworks that have been set off this week. Please keep your eye out for these four legged friends!

Lawson Event Center Opens

Just up the road the City of Lawson has been working hard on launching their new tourist attraction: RV Campgrounds, Event Center, and Community Pool! They had a grand opening for their Event Center this week and it is available for lease!
