4th of July at the Sun & Sail Club

Get ready for a fun-filled Independence Day on the lake!

This event is complimentary for members with a valid membership card. You must bring your membership card to the event to receive a member wrist band. The front desk will be unable to look up members without their card on July 4th.

Guests are permitted at the event, up to 4 guests per household. Guest wristbands are limited and will be sold in advance at $10/wristband.

Those under 7 years of age do not require a wristband.

Event Policies

Parking

No additional handicap permits will be issued for this year's event. Regular handicap parking is available in the Sun & Sail lot on a first-come, first-serve basis
Drop-Off is permitted in the Sun & Sail Club parking lot.
Limited parking will be available on Lake Forest Drive

Entrances

Two entrance gates are available at the Sun & Sail Clubhouse
One entrance is available off Lake Forest Drive just past the Tennis Club at the Maintenance Driveway

All coolers, bags, backpacks, etc. will be searched upon entrance.

Please note this year's event will not include fireworks. We are planning on doing a fireworks show at the Golden Anniversary celebration on September 5th (weather permitting).

Bring on the 4th:

Your Sun & Sail Membership Card (No Entry Without It!)
Pre-Purchased Wristbands
Valid Driver's License/State ID for those over 21 who intend to purchase or consume alcohol.
Cash for the Bar and Craft Show

No outside alcohol permitted. Bars will be available to purchase alcohol with a 21+ wristband (need to show ID to acquire wristband).

Bring lawn chairs, blankets, beach towels, and small pop-up canopies (no larger than 12'x12').
Bathing suits, change of clothes, sweater for the evening, and an umbrella for shade are recommended.
Bring your own ice (no ice booth available at this year's event).

Outside Alcohol
Glass of Any Kind (includes baby food & bottle, only plastic allowed)
Propane, butane, grills, and lighter fluid. (Charcoal is provided at the existing grills)
Pets/Animals other than Service Dogs
Fishing Equipment

Pete Jacobs & the Wartime Radio Singers, a 15-Piece Big Band playing Swing Music and Hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s
