Good Shepherd, You are the gate to eternal life. I listen for Your voice in my heart and mind and follow Your ways. Protect me from all harm and lead me to green pastures. Fill my heart with Your peace and never let me be separated from You. Amen.

PRINCIPAL'S LETTER

“It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives." St. John Paul II

Dear Parents,

As we near the close of our school year, I am drawn to the powerful theme we find time and again in Sacred Scripture: when someone encounters Jesus, they are changed forever. One of the most striking examples is Saul, who began as a persecutor of Christians and, through his life-altering encounter with Christ, became St. Paul the great missionary and teacher of the faith.

It is my prayer that, during this school year, each of our students has encountered Jesus in a way that touched their heart and transformed their life. These encounters may come in many forms through prayer, Adoration, acts of service, or even a conversation with a teacher or friend. In these moments, Jesus meets us where we are and gently calls us closer to Him.

This morning at Mass, we witnessed a beautiful tradition: our 8th grade students processed out of the church, symbolizing the end of their time in middle school and their movement toward high school. As they exited, our 7th grade students rose and stepped into their places, physically and spiritually moving “up” into their role as the new servant leaders of our student body.

During the coming days, I pray especially for our 8th grade students as they prepare to leave Holy Family. My hope is that they do so not only with knowledge and academic preparation, but with the deep and lasting understanding that they are beloved sons and daughters of God who are called to greatness.

In a world that often focuses on imperfections, we must remember that growth should never come at the cost of forgetting our inherent dignity. We are all works in progress, but we are also precious and purposefully made. Let us continue to remind our students of this truth, especially as they embark on new journeys.

God Bless,

Erin Vu

Immunization Requirements for the 2025-2026 School Year

The Texas Department of Health Services sets immunization requirements for all students in both public and private schools. While you may have already fulfilled all the requirements of your child's immunization record, we ask that you take a look at the following link to make sure we have the most recent copy before school starts on August 12th. If you are not sure, feel free to send us another copy. According to the family handbook, "Please note that although conscientious exemptions and waivers may be accepted in some schools, they are not acceptable for use within schools of the Diocese of Austin."

School Supplies for the 2025-2026 School Year

Our school will be managing school supplies a little differently this year. Instead of us ordering the supplies in bulk and having them in the classroom on the first day of school, parents now have the option of purchasing the supplies through a vendor we have contracted with or on your own. The lists are attached for what is needed for each grade level.
