MARY... OUR HOPE AND OUR HELP

April/May Title of Mary: Mother of Good Counsel

Message from the Principal

I would like to congratulate and celebrate the 2026 class of St. Joseph School. Their graduation ceremony was last night, and it was a bittersweet moment. I am so excited to see all of the things that they will accomplish, but I am also so sad to see them leave. They were the best class that anyone could have asked for to start out as principal.

Principal

New Family Mentor Program

Would you like to help to welcome new families to SJS? The New Family Mentor Program is looking for families that can be paired with an incoming family to answer their questions via email over the summer. It’s super easy! If you have a child currently in kindergarten or above, we would love your help! We especially need parents of junior high kids! If interested please email Kristen Thompson (kfrothompson@gmail.com).

BREAKING BREAD

St. Joseph Parish is excited to host our second monthly Community Dinner on Sunday, May 17 from 5:00–6:30 PM.

This evening is for both our parish family and our extended Villa Hills and Crescent Springs community. Our hope is to create a welcoming place where neighbors can gather, enjoy a hot meal together, and build community. Whether someone attends every Sunday, is brand new to the area, or simply could use a good meal and friendly company — everyone is invited, and everything is completely free.

We’ll be grilling out and will also have bounce houses and live music for families and children to enjoy.

We especially encourage parishioners to come and be part of the evening. This is an opportunity not only to serve others, but to share fellowship with our wider community around the table.

We could also use help with setup, grilling, serving food, and cleanup. If you are willing to volunteer, please sign up here:

Thank you for helping make St. Joseph a place of welcome, hospitality, and community.
