Lord Master, You called me to follow You and I trust that You are always with me wherever I go. I want to share Your love with others, even when I feel unsure or unprepared for the task. Help me remember that all authority is Yours, and I can lean on You in every moment. Today I go forward with courage, knowing You will never abandon me. Amen.

MESSAGE FROM INTERIM PRESIDENT

Dear Savio and Holy Family Communities,

As the 2025-2026 school year draws to a close, I want to thank you all for allowing me to share a small piece of your school journey. It has truly been an honor, and please know of my continued prayers for these two beautiful communities. I am grateful for the faculty and staff of both schools. Their tireless efforts are a testament to the love and dedication they have for their schools. I want to especially thank Gina Kerley, our Director of Advancement, and Susan Laielli, our Director of Communications. These two ladies have worked tirelessly throughout their time here and will be greatly missed as they move out of state. I would like to dedicate the rest of this space to their parting thoughts.

From Gina Kerley- Six years ago, I arrived in these communities, a California transplant starting a new job during COVID. I met many of you via Zoom, held annual fund gatherings online, and did what I could to advance both schools forward in a time of uncertainty and chaos. I quickly found that this community was one that was resilient, generous, welcoming, unapologetically Catholic and committed to the Mission of the schools. The Zoom faces became colleagues, friends, and fellow parishioners. This area became home and these schools stole a little piece of my heart. I leave Texas to start my new family adventure in Wilmington, NC, launching Aquila Advancement Consulting. Please know that each of you I worked with, met with, prayed with, and celebrated with have left a special "heart print" on my spirit. I will cherish my time here forever. I pray you remain the same committed, amazingly Catholic, generous community you are and help the next leaders of the school advancement our Missions even further.  Until we meet again....

From Susan Laielli- It has been my pleasure to document the activities and achievements of Holy Family Catholic School and St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School students, faculty, and staff for the last four years. You have given me the best smiles and shared so many wonderful accomplishments that often, I felt as if my own children were marking these milestones! I will be assisting the new communications director to keep our momentum moving forward over the next couple of months, and I remain a trusted, loyal supporter of both Holy Family and St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School. My husband Tim and I will be relocating to our home in The Villages, Florida, so please reach out if you are in the Tampa or Orlando areas.

May your summer be restful and refreshing, and may God's grace continue to flow through these beautiful communities for years to come.

God Bless,

Kelly Laster

PRINCIPAL'S LETTER

“It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness: he is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you” St. John Paul II

Dear Parents,

On Tuesday, we joyfully celebrated our 8th grade students as they graduated from Holy Family. As they embark on their next adventure: high school. We ask you to join us in praying for them as they continue to grow in wisdom and holiness. We are grateful to Fr. Tom Reitmeyer and Fr. Red Blevins for celebrating such a beautiful Mass with us.

The final week of school is often filled with a range of emotions. There is joy and laughter as we celebrate events like Field Day and the Middle School Extravaganza, but also a sense of sadness as we say farewell to those who will not be returning next year. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our faculty and staff for their tireless dedication to the students and families in our community.

As the school year comes to a close, we also wish to recognize and thank the following faculty and staff members who will be departing: Mrs. Guerra, Sister Mary Avila, Dr. Kahn, Mrs. Kerley, Mrs. Laielli, Mrs. Morley, and Ms. Tran. We are deeply grateful for their contributions and wish them many blessings in their future endeavors. During the summer, we will introduce new members of our faculty and staff.

As summer approaches, parents often ask how to keep students engaged in learning. Today, our Learning Support Team presented the final session of our Parent Education Series. If you missed it, please be sure to review the slides included here. We are also excited to share our Summer Reading Program. Students entering grades 2–8 in the fall will have summer reading expectations that include both reading and a project. Please refer to the newsletter for full details.

Thank you for a wonderful school year! We are truly blessed to partner with you in the education of your children. As we head into summer, let us continue to keep one another in prayer.

See you in the Eucharist!

God Bless,

Erin Vu

With the addition of PK3 on campus next year for the 2026-27 academic year, Holy Family Catholic School will be moving three grade levels to new buildings for a more streamlined department style approach for the teachers. This video serves as a visual component for the changes, which include PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten being together in the Faith Building. First Grade will move to the Charity Building, making that space for First, Second, and Third Grade. In Wisdom, 4th Grade will be joining 5th Grade, and Specials will remain the same. As for the Student Success Center, Middle School will have a new location in the Joy Building, and the office in Charity will remain there.

Angel Fund Participation: Last Call!

If you have not yet contributed to the Angel Fund this year, there is still time to make your donation. You can easily do so by following this link.

We are pleased to announce that we have already reached our monetary goal for the Angel Fund. However, parent participation remains a critical component when our school applies for grants and seeks corporate sponsorships. High levels of parent participation demonstrate to potential partners that our families are deeply committed to the school’s mission.

Currently, our parent participation rate stands at 52%. Our goal is to increase this to 60% by June 30. Every donation counts toward participation—no matter the amount!

Congratulations to Grayson Mollenkopf from Mrs. Phelan's class. Grayson won the Run With The Angels raffle drawing to see Dude Perfect at the Moody Center in July!

Welcome to Holy Family Catholic School

Kid’s College 2026

The Holy Family Catholic School Kid’s College is where kids can come and pursue their interests. Like college, scholars will have the freedom to choose the sessions that appeal to their interests. Scholars are invited to explore a new skill, engage in an interest, and learn.

The faculty will lead carefully selected courses designed to integrate different curriculum areas and to be a non-traditional, multi-aged experience for students. The cost of the one-week course includes all tuition and fees. Kid’s College hours are 9 am - 3 pm Monday-Friday with options for full day or half day.

We anticipate that sessions will fill quickly. Since they are first-come/first-serve, please register as soon as possible for the session your child would like to attend. After turning in the completed Registration and Terms of Enrollment/Release Form with full payment, parents will receive a receipt to serve as confirmation of camp registration.

Registration forms can be turned in online, turned into the front office, or emailed to kwalker@holyfamilycs.org. Scholars will be placed in the sessions on a first-come basis until the session has reached its maximum enrollment.
