Andrew Guthrie Ferguson

NYSDA’s Discovery & Forensic Support Unit is pleased to welcome a new presenter, distinguished Professor Andrew Guthrie Ferguson. Professor Ferguson is a nationally recognized expert on predictive policing, big data policing, and emerging surveillance technologies. He has authored numerous national legal commentaries, the book The Rise of Big Data Policing: Surveillance, Race, and the Future of Law Enforcement, and co-authored an amicus brief in support of Petitioner Carpenter in the U.S. Supreme Court case, Carpenter v United States, challenging a warrantless acquisition of cell site location information (CLSI). These are the themes Professor Ferguson will explore with us in his exciting webinar. You won’t want to miss it!

This program is intended for defense attorneys in criminal and family court practice and other members of the defense team, including investigators, paralegals, parent advocates, social workers, and mitigation specialists.
