| | TONIGHT: Senior Awards Night at 6 pm | | |
Every senior should attend Senior Awards Night with their family. The attire for this event is more casual than for graduation. We suggest informal to business casual. Additionally, all seniors will receive their bag of honor cords and other senior awards after the program.
Seniors should gather in the lobby of the Black Box (next to the Rose Maree Myers Theatre (RMTT)) at 5:30 pm to walk in together right at 6 pm. Guests should head to the RMTT and be seated. The first few rows are reserved for the Seniors. Seniors should wait in the Black Box lobby area to walk in together at the beginning of the Awards Night.
Also on Wednesday, May 27: MANDATORY graduation practice will be held at the Performing Arts Center at 1:30 pm.

| | | AMHS Community Welcomes New Principal, Mr. Reese | | AMHS Girls and Boys Soccer Teams Both Win State Championships | | |
Congratulations to the AMHS Boys' and Girls' Varsity Soccer Teams who, for the second year in a row, won the South Carolina High School League AA State Championships last week on Thursday!
The girls had a dominating 5-0 performance against Andrew Jackson High School. Senior Bridget Lee produced a hat trick. A fourth score was earned by Hannah Collins, and the scoring was capped off by a
perfect strike from Kamya Pham. This season the girls compiled a 22 – 5 record, which is the most wins in a season since 2014 with a total of 141 goals scored and only 14 conceded. This marks four
championships in the course of ten years and eight overall championships for AMHS women’s soccer. The girls' coach is Alister DeLong.
The Raptor boys played Buford High School from the upstate in a physical match. The boys led 1-0 at halftime behind a perfect placed goal from Cesa Ramirez. Buford evened the score 25 seconds into the second half. Our second goal came minutes later on a header by Jaidon Daley from a long throw from Blake Yarborough. The game was sealed on a counter attack in the closing minutes with another goal by Ramirez to secure a 3-1 victory. The boys' team is coached by Dr. Jason Hamil.

| | Register a Team for Soccer Tournament on June 6 | | |
Raptors, please consider registering a team for the Chuck Dennis Memorial 5v5 Soccer Tournament. It’s a great chance to come together with the Charleston soccer community for a fun day, healthy competition, and a meaningful cause. Play for a purpose and help create opportunities for young athletes through soccer scholarships generated from the tournament. All athletes will receive free tickets to the Charleston Battery match on June 6. Division winners are recognized during half time of the Charleston Battery. Grab your teammates and be part of it: register, volunteer, or donate at charlesdennisfoundation.org.
Volunteer Opportunities: Help is needed in the concession stand and the event is also looking for a field marshal. A field marshal's simple job involves receiving a scorecard from the scorekeeper, taking it to the referee on the field and returning it to the scorekeeper after the game. Here is a link to their Sign Up Genius.
