Celebrating Years of Service With CCSD93 | | Continuing in the same spirit of appreciation, this week we recognize staff members reaching important years of service milestones with the District. I’m deeply thankful for all that the D93 team members listed below have contributed, and will continue to contribute, to our students. Congratulations! | | Thank You, CareFest Volunteers, for Beautifying Our Schools! | | Last Saturday, 1,175 volunteers from Wheaton Bible Church generously gave their time, resources and skills to beautify all CCSD93 schools and many other community sites during their annual CareFest event. I’m truly grateful to those who mulched, weeded, gardened, planted and more at our schools. It was a pleasure connecting with them as they served. Their hard work is helping our campuses look great as we head into summer! | | Register for 2025-26 School Year Today | |

It’s an exciting time for CCSD93 students! Band and orchestra directors are currently visiting elementary classrooms to introduce 3rd and 4th graders to the world of instrumental music. Third graders are learning about orchestra and will have the chance to join next school year. Fourth graders are discovering band instruments in preparation for 5th grade. These students have also visited Jay Stream or Stratford to see the instruments in action by their middle school counterparts.
After students have explored their instrument choices, families are invited to take the next step by attending Instrument Rental Night on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Middle School. At this event, families can:
- Reserve an instrument for delivery to school in August
- Rent-to-own is encouraged
- Please bring a credit card or checks
- Meet our band and orchestra directors
- Get help from our instrument provider representatives at Quinlan & Fabish
- Complete rental paperwork
- Expect to spend about 30 minutes there

| | Help Support a New Community Bus at Putt & Pour Fundraiser on 6/4 |
The Carol Stream Parks Foundation is hosting a Putt & Pour fundraising event on Wednesday, June 4 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Coyote Crossing Mini Golf to help replace the Park District’s aging passenger bus, originally purchased in 2012.
The bus plays a key role in providing safe, affordable transportation for seniors, youth and families across the community. Whether it’s transporting seniors on weekly trips, shuttling over 250 campers between parks and pools each summer or supporting community events and emergencies, the bus is essential to making programs accessible and affordable. With rising repair costs and reliability concerns, it’s time for a new one.
