Good Day! You may have heard me on the number of churches that do not have anything close to regular services today. Here is another example of what may very well be their problems. Sadly, Revelation has a lot to say about them. 

"Well, we don't have services, no big deal." Seems to be a lot of their attitudes. But here is John writing from prison and these churches were NOT figments of his imagination they were actual churches, and Yes, history does repeat itself!

God cannot take a people like that. In this case He wishes that they were something, at the least, even cold. But they are in the middle. Take no stance at all. And many of them are churches with very well off people, that is in the world.

For sure they are comfortable. Too comfortable, that is. They do not even see a true picture of themselves as they half heartedly go through the motions. AND that is the key. There is no room in Christ's Kingdom for half heartedness. 

Yes, even so called "evangelicals" fit this picture. Telling everyone else how to live, but failing to do themselves. God would like them tested and refined by fire. Some will come out of it, and answer the call. Others will not.

Dear Father God,

May the fire return to us and burn big, to get back to you and in a closer way.
