Claude’s AI-Generated Text Will Soon Carry a New Digital Watermark

Anthropic has announced that future Claude models will generate text containing a watermark designed to indicate whether Claude was likely involved in producing the content. The company says the watermark will not add visible text, hidden characters or extra tokens, and should have no practical impact on the quality of Claude’s responses.
