Back to School Grants and Resources to Share
As students return to school across New England with a mix of virtual and in-person learning, New England Dairy grants and resources ensure milk and dairy foods remain core components of meals being served.

  • Nearly $113,000 in grants are being given out to 43 schools across our region to purchase equipment needed to safely serve milk and meals to their students this fall and beyond through our 100th Anniversary Grant.

  • A Bento Box Resource is available to school nutrition professionals to help creatively use dairy in grab and go meals.

New England Dairy Helps Donate 1,100 Gallons of Milk in
the Pioneer Valley
New England Dairy partnered with Mapleline Farm and Rachel's Table to distribute approximately 1,100 gallons to 24 agencies addressing food insecurity and helping families in need throughout Western Massachusetts. Read more about the donation effort.
New England Dairy's Fuel Up to Play 60 player ambassador Chase Winovich continues to use his personal platforms to share his love of dairy. He recently shared his appreciation for milk and dairy farmers during a post-practice interview.
National Dairy Sales Update
For the year to date through 8/9/20, milk sales volume is up 3.4% and cheese volume sales are up 15.8% compared to the same period last year.

In the past four weeks ending 8/9/20, milk volume is down 0.3%. Cheese sales remained strongly elevated in the same 4-week period up 12%.
