BROKER SUMMIT RECAP

We hosted our first annual Broker Summit on July 18th at the Innovation Campus in Lincoln. Katie Johnson of the National Association of REALTORS® joined us via zoom and updated us on the status of the lawsuits National Association of REALTORS® is named in and what REALTORS® can do in the meantime to help. She encouraged all REALTORS® to think about and have answers for the 5 questions below. Katie says all REALTORS® should be able to answer these questions and help educate their customers and clients about the home buying process, how commissions are paid, and what services they should receive when they work with a REALTOR®.

Why would I want to use you when I can just find a home online?

What are you actually going to do?

How much does it cost to use your services?

What do you mean you get paid by the seller’s agent?  Why is that?

Is your fee negotiable?

HERE ARE SOME USEFUL LINKS & TOOLS TO HELP ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS.
