Join Us for Pitch Night 2021
AN LFHS LIVESTREAM EVENT
Brought to you by the LFHS FOUNDATION
Moments from the Minimum Viable Product Pitches March 2021
The 2020-21 school year was another exciting year of innovation in the Business Incubator program at Lake Forest High School. This year saw the formation of 11 student teams, guided and mentored by local business leaders. Each team stepped up to the challenge of creating the foundation for its new business while often working remotely, demonstrating their ability to adapt to the current context with extraordinary resiliency and commitment to their business. The LFHS Foundation is proud to give them a platform to share their ideas with our community in the hopes of attracting investors and raising much needed start-up capital through donations.

In early March, all 11 teams presented minimum viable product (MVP) pitches for our judges. Each team was provided with feedback and funding for the MVP process. During the next phase of the process, 5 self-selected student teams will make their Academic Pitches, which will take place virtually on May 13 and May 14. At that time our panel of judges will determine which teams will move on to Pitch Night, the ultimate competition for recognition and financial awards. The teams moving on will be announced on May 17 and will participate in Pitch Night on May 20 starting at 7 PM.

PARTAKE, PARTICIPATE & GET INVOLVED!
Do you have an interest in supporting these entrepreneurs or the Business Incubator program? Please join us for this year's livestream event. Investors are always welcome at Pitch Night and we encourage them to connect with teams about possible funding opportunities. We will also have opportunities for viewers to donate to specific teams, contributing to their start up costs without an expectation of a return. Finally, we will also be providing opportunities for viewers to donate toward the 2022 Pitch Night Prize pool or the LFHS Foundation. You can stay up to date on all of this at our event website: PitchNight2021.givesmart.com
6 ADDITIONAL BUSINESS INCUBATOR TEAMS
Each year there are teams that decide not to pursue Pitch Night. There were 11 teams in the program and we wanted to share the six other business ideas that were explored by students during this challenging year.

Bluetooth Buddy holds your signal connection when moving from WiFi or cellular to a vehicle’s Bluetooth.
Flash Bots help students beat resellers in purchasing items in a limited flash sale.
