This resource-intensive toolkit assists agencies in addressing health disparities of people from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. It provides an overview of vital issues and information, such as cultural responsiveness versus cultural competence, National Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) standards, and principles of community engagement.

How to Provide Anti-Racist Mental Health Care


Published in The Lancet Psychiatry, this article synthesizes relevant research from the past three decades in order to offer actionable guidelines for providing anti-racist mental health care to Black communities.

Bringing Racial Equity Strategies to Recovery Support Services


This recorded webinar focuses on bringing racial equity strategies to recovery support services. The presenters discuss skills for having open and honest discussions about racial equity, the history of race and racism in the U.S. (and in recovery spaces in particular), and strategies for beginning to apply anti-racist practices.

Resmaa Menakem, therapist and author of My Grandmother’s Hands, frequently writes and speaks on the damage caused by racism in America from the perspective of trauma and body-centered therapy. In this free course, Menakem provides a call to action on how to engage racialized trauma by connecting with and understanding our bodies.

Guide to Allyship


The Guide to Allyship was developed by Amélie Lamont, a queer Black femme, to help folks explore becoming more thoughtful and effective allies. The Guide offers practical, actionable information, such as the “Do’s and Don’ts” of allyship, common pitfalls, and the importance of centering folks who have been marginalized.
