5 Tips for Effective
Year-End Giving
Cash is always a great way to give, but there are other options for year-end philanthropy when you consider your assets. Check out these year-end giving tips from Leslie, VP of Finance and Operations.
You might find that there are additional advantages to supporting certain agencies with giving outside of your fund. Find out more information about the Enterprise Zone and Childcare Contribution Credits.
Submit requests for year-end grants by Wednesday, December 16 at 10:00 am to ensure they make it to the mail in time to count for
year-end fundraising efforts at your favorite agency.

As you consider how you might give back this Giving Tuesday, PPCF is proud to support year-end campaigns like Give! and Empty Stocking Fund. These community fundraising programs are great ways to make your philanthropy have a greater collective impact. You can support Empty Stocking Fund through PPCF with a gift of stock.
Whether driven by an IRA distribution or sparked by Giving Tuesday, Community Impact Funds allow you to make a charitable gift into a fund focused on a cause that you care about. Gifts from many donors are pooled together and granted to nonprofits serving that area. Donating to PPCF’s Impact Funds gives you simplicity and peace of mind knowing that your dollars are going toward the things you most care about and are relevant to the changing needs of the community.

Giving to these community funds is easy with your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA. Check out this how-to sheet to learn more. For questions, contact Lori, VP of Philanthropic Services.
