DEAR CAREER COACH Should I apply to a job even if I don't meet all of the qualifications? This may surprise you, but the answer is yes! While job descriptions describe “ideal” applicants, employers are usually willing to interview candidates who meet at least 75% of the qualifications. Connect very clearly for the hiring manager how your qualifications meet their desired needs. Gross pay is your full earnings pre-tax and deductions. Net pay is what you take home after taxes and other payroll deductions.
